"Is it possible that we will have a fourth wave of COVID? Is that real?" - responded Armen Muradyan, the rector of Yerevan State Medical University, during an interview on H1 with host Petros Ghazaryan. He stated, "It is very real. I do not want to create an atmosphere of panic, but what we have gone through obliges us to be prepared — to ensure that the system is ready, that our hospital systems are prepared, and that primary care facilities are ready. After all, we not only took on all those expenses from COVID, but also postponed several medical procedures for a year."

"The fourth wave could be very severe for us; first, the system is exhausted, we must state the truth: people are simply burnt out. The fourth phase is dangerous for us," the speaker warned.
