New Details Regarding Incident Involving Investigator

On June 30, 2021, during an incident involving a group of individuals at the intersection of Isaacian and Teryan streets in Yerevan, Narine Shahinyan, an employee of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, sustained bodily injuries and sought medical assistance.

Based on the appropriate report received from the medical center, materials are being prepared to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to hold accountable those responsible.

It should be noted that Narine Shahinyan has no connection to a flower stall, and thus the information circulating in the online media suggesting that the incident was triggered by city hall employees dismantling a flower stall has no relation to reality.
