"Idiotka": Tovmasyan Sues Nazaryan

On June 30, Takouhie Tovmasyan filed a lawsuit against Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan, demanding that she publicly apologize for an insulting remark and pay compensation. This was reported by Auroranews, citing the Judicial Information System.

Tovmasyan's representative submitted the claim to the court on June 30. The case is registered with Sergey Sahakyan, a judge of the general jurisdiction of Yerevan.

Recall that on June 3, after Tovmasyan's speech in the National Assembly, Lena Nazaryan referred to her as an "idiotka". Tovmasyan demanded an apology from the podium, to which Nazaryan responded that Tovmasyan should apologize instead.
