‘I will not tolerate such behavior’: Nikol Pashinyan

During a meeting with our weightlifting team, I was surprised to learn that our weightlifters do not have barbells that meet international standards. This was the first issue I took upon myself to resolve. It was in April 2021, and today is July 2021; if I remember correctly, the Olympics are in August. Why is this issue still being discussed two months later? When will the barbells be available, and why has the team size decreased when I promised 20? ” Nikol Pashinyan addressed Vahram Dumanyan, the acting Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, who was reporting on the issue.
“I will not tolerate such behavior. If I said there should be 20, then there must be 20. Therefore, make sure that 20 barbells are available for the team as soon as possible,” added the acting Prime Minister.
