Fire Source in Khosrov Forest State Reserve Contained; No Risk of Spread at This Time

On June 30, at 18:52, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report about a fire that broke out in the "Dghngyol" area of the Khosrov State Reserve. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Five firefighting units, two operational teams, and a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

A total of 81 rescuers and 40 employees of the Khosrov Forest State Reserve participated in the firefighting efforts. Approximately 4,000 square meters of grass cover, peat layers, and juniper trees have been burned.

As of now, firefighting operations are ongoing, and the fire source has been contained; there is currently no risk of spread.
