Direct Regular Air Transport Between Kazakhstan and Armenia Officially Restored

Direct regular air transport between Kazakhstan and Armenia has officially been restored. From now on, citizens of the Republic of Armenia can enter the territory of Kazakhstan without presenting any grounds.

This information has been reported by the Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan, noting that currently, only the Aktau–Yerevan–Aktau route is operational.

According to preliminary data, the Nur-Sultan–Yerevan–Nur-Sultan route will be launched soon if there are enough passengers.

The direct regular air transport between Kazakhstan and Armenia was temporarily suspended from January 21, 2020, initially due to technical reasons, followed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Armenian side had repeatedly officially requested its restoration.
