Haroonyan and Russian Ambassador Discuss Armenian-Russian Cooperation Issues

Acting Minister of Defense Vahe Haroonyan met on June 30 with Sergey Kopirkin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia, and Colonel Andrey Grishchuk, the Defense Attaché at the Russian Embassy in Armenia.

According to the Ministry of Defense's information and public relations department, the acting minister congratulated Colonel Andrey Grishchuk on assuming his new position.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to bilateral strategic and military-political cooperation were discussed, as well as regional security and other matters of mutual interest.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that the parties highly appreciated the dynamics of Armenian-Russian allied cooperation and political dialogue, as well as the effective collaboration in the defense sector.
