Obstacles Emerge in the Trial of Kocharyan and Gevorgyan

Obstacles have emerged in the trial of former President Robert Kocharyan and former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan. This announcement was made by Anna Danibekyan, the judge presiding over the case at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

The presiding judge clarified that if Kocharyan and Gevorgyan were to gain parliamentary status, it would pose challenges in overcoming their parliamentary immunity. However, before addressing this issue, the court must first have clear information about their current status.
