38-Year-Old Female Driver Crashes Nissan Tiida into Iron Tower; 4 Children Hospitalized

A serious road accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region on June 29. Around 10:40 AM, 38-year-old Ruzanna Abrahamyan lost control of her Nissan Tiida while on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the 58 km mark, crashing into an iron television tower under still unknown circumstances, reports shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, four individuals, all children, sustained varying degrees of bodily injuries and were transported to the Sevan Medical Center. Bystanders were the first to provide assistance, followed by emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ fire and rescue service unit 32 in Sevan, along with the on-duty medical team from Sevan hospital.

The commander of the Sevan fire and rescue unit transported two of the injured children to the hospital, while the other two were taken by Sevan doctors. The police are working to establish the identities of the injured.
