Unconditional State Financial Support to be Provided to Military Pensioners for Home Purchase
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs long-serving military pensioners included in the housing registration that according to the decision No. 540-N of the Government of Armenia dated May 10, 2019, unconditional state financial support will be provided to former servicemen who were discharged from military service with the right to a military pension and registered during their military service as having the right to housing assistance to purchase an apartment or residential house. This support will be available until December 1, 2022, through certificates for the purchase of residences, based on the years of registration of the beneficiaries in the housing registry, with the following priority:
- Regions of the Republic of Armenia with border settlements,
- Other regions of the Republic of Armenia,
- Yerevan city.
The following order of priority among the regions of Armenia has been established:
- Tavush Province,
- Vayots Dzor Province,
- Sisian Province,
- Gegharkunik Province,
- Ararat Province,
- Shirak Province,
- Lori Province,
- Armavir Province,
- Aragatsotn Province,
- Kotayk Province,
- Yerevan City.
Based on the established priority, it is proposed that beneficiaries registered in the housing registry in Kotayk Province who have not yet updated their housing records submit the following documents from July 6 to July 20 of this year:
- A photocopy of the discharge order,
- Photocopies of the passport of the beneficiary and family members (with originals),
- Photocopy of the marriage (divorce) certificate (with originals),
- Information from the passport office regarding the registration addresses of the beneficiary and family members,
- Photocopies of ownership certificates for the beneficiary's and family members' residential (habitable) property (with originals), along with information regarding the individuals registered in those residences from the passport office,
- Information from the housing cooperative regarding residing individuals,
- A certificate from the relevant subdivision of the State Cadastre Committee of the Republic of Armenia regarding the acquisition and/or alienation of immovable property within the territory of Armenia in the name of the beneficiary and their family members over the past 5 years.
Wearing a mask is mandatory.
Military pensioners who are unable to submit the documents in person may send them by mail to the following address: Yerevan, Babayan Street 4, Main Department of Mobilization and Defense of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia (tel. 010-28-74-41),” the Ministry's message stated.
