New Details Emerge About London Central Explosion

In central London, near the Elephant & Castle station, an explosion caused a significant fire, resulting in one person being injured who is currently receiving medical assistance. According to RIA Novosti, this was reported by the London Fire Brigade.

"Representatives from London Ambulance Service are providing assistance on-site to a man," reads the statement from the brigade.

Fifteen fire engines and 100 firefighters are currently working at the scene. The fire has completely destroyed three commercial properties located beneath the railway arches, six cars, and the telephone booth of the Elephant and Castle railway station. Residents of the railway building and nearby homes have been evacuated.

“Most roads are closed. We urge people to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed while the firefighters are working,” advised Fire Station Commander James Ryan. Previously, London police stated that the fire is not related to terrorism.
