Mercedes Falls into Ravine on Yerevan-Meghri Road, Driver Hospitalized

On June 28, at 01:23 AM, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received a notification about a traffic accident near Malishka village. A firefighting and rescue squad from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a "Mercedes-Benz E-Class" vehicle (driver: E. K., born in 1994) had veered off the roadway at kilometer 126 of the Yerevan-Meghri highway and ended up in a ravine. Before rescuers arrived, the driver was transported to the Yeghugnadzor Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's power supply, closed the gas cylinder valve, and used special equipment to tow the vehicle onto a flatbed.
