CEC Summarizes Final Results: CPP at 53.91%, Armenia Alliance at 21.09%, Honorary at 5.22%

During a special session, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) summarized the final results of the snap parliamentary elections held on June 20. CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan, while reviewing the results, reminded that a recount had taken place following the initial results.

According to his report, out of 2,595,512 eligible citizens, 1,281,997, or 49.39%, participated in the voting. The number of invalid ballots was 4,593.

Thus, the final tally shows that the top three parties remain unchanged: The Civil Contract Party received 688,761 votes or 53.91%, the Armenia Alliance received 269,481 votes or 21.09%, and the Honorary Alliance received 66,650 votes or 5.22%. Although the Honorary Alliance did not surpass the 7% threshold, it enters the parliament as the third force with the highest number of votes.

It is noteworthy that initial results indicated that the Civil Contract Party led by Nikol Pashinyan received about 53.92% of the votes, the Armenia Alliance led by former President Robert Kocharian received 21.04%, and the Patriotic Party led by Artur Vanetsyan, the Honorary Alliance, received 5.23%.
