Armenian Armed Forces Did Not Shell Azerbaijani Positions, Ministry of Defense States

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has disseminated another piece of misinformation regarding the alleged shelling of Azerbaijani positions by the Armenian Armed Forces for several hours in the border area of Gegharkunik province.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. The Armenian Armed Forces have not opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions. Moreover, during the time period mentioned in the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement, it was the Azerbaijani side that fired random shots, to which the Armenian side did not respond.
