WARNING: High Temperatures Expected in Armenia from Today Until June 28

Due to the infiltration of tropical hot air currents from the Arabian deserts, a significantly high thermal background is expected across the Republic from June 25 to 28. This is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

It is noted that daytime temperatures in the Ararat Valley and its foothills, the foothills of Vayots Dzor, the valley area of Syunik, and Yerevan are expected to reach +39...+41 degrees Celsius. Additionally, a high risk of wildfire is expected in these areas from June 25 to 30. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is anticipated to be above normal levels.
