Pope Francis on His Visit to Armenia

Pope Francis recalled his visit to Armenia during a meeting with participants of the Assembly of the Organization for the Eastern Churches (ROACO). This was reported by Vatican News.

“At the end of my apostolic journey to Armenia in 2016, together with Catholicos Karekin II, we released doves into the sky as a sign of peace for the entire Caucasus region. Unfortunately, in recent months the situation has worsened again, and I am grateful for your attention to the situation in Georgia and Armenia, which aims for the Catholic community to continue to be familiar with the evangelical life,” said Pope Francis.
