68-Year-Old Man Attempts to Poison Park Water, Criminal Case Initiated

At around 09:20, a 40-year-old officer from the main department of state protection of the police noticed a citizen entering a specially protected area while on duty at the "Abovyan Upper Park OKJ." The police officer, accompanied by a colleague, approached the individual and urged him to leave the protected area. However, the man not only refused to comply with the police's legal request but also struck police officer Norayr G. with a metal object he was holding.

Subsequently, officers from the central police department, who arrived in response to a call, apprehended the individual who had stated that he was in that location to poison the water. According to the site, he is 68-year-old Mikhail Ledyaev. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and M. Ledyaev has been arrested.
