I Have No Doubt We Must Soon Mobilize Our Efforts to Overcome the New Failures of the Authorities - Zurabyan

Levon Zurabyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Congress, has expressed gratitude for the tremendous work carried out during the election campaign. He stated, 'Dear Congress 2021 team, I extend my deep gratitude to all of you for the excellent work you put in during the election campaign, to which you dedicated your entire energy, commitment, and love for our country.'

He added, 'In just 30 days, we managed to present the truth about the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to our society, our plans for the development of Armenia, and the necessity of a return to realistic politics. Unfortunately, administrative resources and pressures from state/private employers are suppressing our people, who live in poverty and dependency, and the money and media owned by oligarchs have taken control of our electoral and, broadly speaking, political system. In such a system, the forces of political manipulation possessing money and leverage win, not rationalism or political thought.'

'There is no need to despair. No nation can progress without rational political thought and programs built on sound calculations. Thanks to these principles and ideas, we succeeded in winning over a significant part of the thinking population, and most inspiringly, successful youth in learning, science, art, and business. We simply need to preserve and expand the fantastic new team and support base created during the election campaign for future political battles.'

'The three years of governance by these authorities have proven that they are complete failures in state management and have succeeded only in demagoguery and manipulation of public opinion. I have no doubt we must soon mobilize all our efforts to overcome the aftermath of their failures and face the new challenges ahead.'

'Thank you to all candidates, supporters, financial contributors, campaigners, and those working in the headquarters of the Congress. Rationalism and justice will ultimately prevail.'
