Formerly Velvet, Now Steel: Romanos Petrosyan on Welcoming Pashinyan
After today’s cabinet meeting, acting Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan commented on standing up when Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan enters the hall, stating that it is appropriate to stand when a high-ranking state official enters.
In response to a remark that this was not the practice before, he said, “Perhaps it was velvet before, which is why it wasn’t done, but now it is steel, and that is how it will be; this is to my liking.”
