Another Remains Discovered in the Varanda (Fizuli) Region

Another set of remains has been discovered and recovered in the Varanda (Fizuli) region as part of the ongoing search operations today. Preliminary information suggests that this individual was a participant in military operations. Their identity will be confirmed after forensic examination.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.

From November 13, 2020, to June 24, 2021, a total of 1,585 remains have been discovered and recovered from areas that have come under Azerbaijani control. Search operations will continue in the upcoming period. The service will provide additional information regarding directions and results.
