If there were no military voting in Syunik, the picture would be significantly different: Vahe Hakobyan

There have been widespread threats against state apparatus employees. Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the "Hayastan" alliance, stated during a press conference, addressing the question of why the ruling Civil Contract has collected more votes from Syunik, particularly from border villages.

“Moreover, we have solid grounds to suspect that the same soldiers voted in several electoral districts. This is why we received what we received,” emphasized Vahe Hakobyan.

The second President of Armenia and leader of the "Hayastan" alliance, Robert Kocharyan, also added that there were numerous videos on social media showing how soldiers were brought in and that their commanders did not leave the polling station, keeping watch over them.

“We have data indicating that they were told to show up, and the commission members could not remove them from the polling station, while military voting in Syunik significantly alters the situation. If there was no military voting in Syunik, the picture would be notably different. One of the main issues was that we were unable to work effectively in the villages, and the villages are completely under public influence,” stated Robert Kocharyan.
