France is Determined to Support Armenia in Strengthening Territorial Integrity and Democracy
France welcomes the parliamentary elections held in Armenia on Sunday, June 20. This was announced by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“According to the data from Armenia's Central Electoral Commission, the ‘Civil Contract’ party, led by the current Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is the clear frontrunner in the elections,” the statement reads. France takes note of the preliminary conclusions of the OSCE/ODIHR observer mission regarding the satisfactory level of voting.
France is hopeful that these elections will enable Armenia to face the numerous challenges ahead. It reaffirms its determination to support Armenia in this endeavor, as well as its unwavering support for Armenia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the strengthening of democratic institutions,” the statement adds.
