Visit Occurred After Voting Ended and Could Not Affect Results: Artsakh President's Spokesperson Addresses Speculations

Considering that the visit of Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan to the headquarters of the Civil Contract party yesterday has sparked various interpretations, I would like to clarify that Arayik Harutyunyan did not only meet with the leadership of that party.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the Artsakh President, Lusine Avanesyan, in an interview with Artsakhpress.

“It should be noted that this visit took place after the voting had ended and could not influence the election results. The President of Artsakh maintained political neutrality during the pre-election period, fully aware that regardless of the election outcomes, the unity of Artsakh, Armenia, and the Diaspora should not be endangered. Internal political discord is fraught with unpredictable dangers, which representatives of the Armenian political field must fully understand, irrespective of political disagreements,” said L. Avanesyan.
