Serious Violations Directly Affect Election Results: Another Party Appeals to the Constitutional Court

The Armenian National Homeland Party has issued a statement.

"The extraordinary parliamentary elections held on June 20, 2021, can be described as the most disgraceful elections in the history of newly independent Armenia due to their illegalities and violations. There was a total distribution of bribes, illegal arrests of campaign headquarters managers, total power outages in almost all regions of the Republic, directed and open voting by the Armed Forces, removal of ballots from polling stations, total use of administrative resources, gross violations of the electoral campaign, and elections conducted under conditions of de facto usurpation of the highest state power, among others. These violations are significant and have directly affected the election results.

Therefore, we, the undersigned parties, declare that we do not recognize the results of the falsified parliamentary elections of June 20, 2021, and deem them illegitimate and not reflective of the will of the people; we are preparing to appeal to the Constitutional Court of Armenia within five days, demanding the annulment of the falsified election results of June 20, 2021. The statement is open for joining."
