Lusavor Hayastan Issues Statement

The Lusavor Hayastan party has issued a statement regarding the results of the snap parliamentary elections.

The statement reads:

“Dear compatriots, the Lusavor Hayastan party thanks everyone for their vote and assures that every vote given to us will continue to serve the benefit of the Republic of Armenia.

At the same time, we find it necessary to note the following regarding the snap parliamentary elections that took place on June 20, 2021: the Lusavor Hayastan party, being a pro-state parliamentary force, has prioritized political stability and peace above all else and has done everything possible to overcome the post-war crisis in the country, for which the only possible solution was the snap parliamentary elections.

The Lusavor Hayastan party remains steadfast in its position that elections are a way for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to decide what kind of governance should be established and who should lead the country in the coming years.

The Lusavor Hayastan party respects the people's decision and at the same time declares that it will continue to keep the issue of internal political solidarity and restoring unity within the country on the agenda and reaffirms the belief that the only way to confront the challenges facing our country is through nationwide unity.

The Lusavor Hayastan party wishes effective work to the forces that passed through parliament for the well-being of the Republic of Armenia.

The Lusavor Hayastan party will continue to play its participatory role in all political processes taking place in Armenia and is preparing for the local self-government elections expected in the autumn.”
