Armenian and Azerbaijani Sides Occasionally Exchange Bodies: Artsakh Emergency Situations Service

Search operations for the remains of fallen soldiers are ongoing today in the Varanda (Fizuli) region, according to reports from the Artsakh Emergency Situations Service. The service will provide additional information on the results of these efforts.

Since the beginning of search operations immediately after military actions, 1,580 remains have been discovered and evacuated from territories occupied by Azerbaijan in Artsakh. Armenian and Azerbaijani sides have occasionally conducted exchanges of bodies.
