The 'Honorary Mobile' Alliance Issues a Statement

The 'Honorary Mobile' Alliance notes that especially in the last 48 hours, the temporary authorities have engaged in disgraceful acts of political repression against leading political forces, specifically the candidates and supporters of the 'Honorary Mobile' Alliance. There have been evident illegal searches and detentions, most of which have already been annulled by the courts.

As of 3:45 PM, we continue to receive numerous reports from regional polling stations about the pressures and directives imposed by officials on the ground. We urge all our teammates and supporters to adhere to the letter of the law and to honorably fulfill their entrusted duties.

We are particularly saddened to learn about the widespread organized pressure applied by the capitulating authorities against our servicemen, from privates to commanding officers. Those who disrupt the lawful conduct of elections should not doubt that their actions will be thoroughly investigated and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

We hope that the information and facts received from various polling stations and observers regarding the marks or annotations present on the ballot of the 'Honorary Mobile' Alliance (number 6) that are not legally foreseen will not serve as a pretext for declaring those votes invalid. All of this should also become a subject of inquiry after the elections.

We call on all our citizens to fear nothing and to go to the polling stations before 8:00 PM today to cast their votes. The outcome of this election is crucial for the sovereignty of Armenia and Artsakh, the security of our borders, the restoration of our national solidarity, and the preservation of our identity.

We draw the attention of international and local observer missions to these circumstances and are ready to provide the necessary support.
