Person Who Fired Shots in Yerevan Detained
Today, a person who fired shots on Gyulbenkyan Street in Yerevan has been detained, according to the Armenian police.
“On June 20, the police received reports of gunfire in the Arabkir district. An operational group and officers from other police units arrived at the scene on Gyulbenkyan Street and determined that a resident of one of the buildings on the street, reportedly not in a sober state, had fired shots into the air from his apartment. Police officers subdued him and took him to the Arabkir police station. The firearm has been confiscated. Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties. An investigation is underway,” the police statement reads.
