Many Students and Teachers from Chinchin Village School Hospitalized at Vanadzor Medical Center
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an incident of poisoning occurred in the Tavush region on June 19. Around 11:30 PM, the Taroni division of the Vanadzor police received a call reporting that a large number of children had been admitted with a diagnosis of "food intoxication." As reported by photographer Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Taroni division of the police, led by the investigator and inspector for juvenile affairs, headed to the hospital.
The police discovered that those hospitalized were residents of Chinchin village in Tavush region, namely 10-year-olds Ofelia A., Erik A., Lilith D., Aren H., 11-year-old Vladimir A., 8-year-old Armen B., 11-year-old Lilith B., 12-year-olds Nare H., Arman A., and Haik G. These children are students at the Chinchin village school.
Also hospitalized were several teachers from the same school, including 52-year-old Marine Danielyan, 62-year-old Arus Mayilyan from the village of Varagavan in Tavush, 51-year-old Anahit Aslanyan, 30-year-old Anna Tadevosyan, 35-year-old Zarouhi Yeghiazaryan from Berd, 28-year-old Mariam Yesayan, and the school's driver, 60-year-old Manvel Gyurjinyan.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, the poisoning occurred during an excursion to the Sanahin church in the morning, around Alaverdi city, and a consumption of various food items near Dsegh village at around 4:00 PM the same day. Reports regarding the incident have been forwarded from the Taroni division of the police to the Tumanyan division.
Notice: The suspect or accused in a presumed crime is considered innocent unless proven guilty by a court ruling, which has come into legal force according to the Armenian Criminal Procedure Code.
