Gunfire from a gas pistol in Azatashen: Instructions issued to initiate criminal proceedings, Gor Abrahamyan
Today, an argument took place near polling station No. 11/11 in the village of Azatashen, involving several individuals, including a candidate from one of the political parties participating in the elections and a trusted person from that party. During the altercation, gunfire was discharged from a gas pistol.
This information was reported by Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General, on his Facebook page.
“Based on the received alert, the police officers who arrived at the scene promptly initiated the appropriate measures, and the weapon has been seized. There are no reported injuries from the gunfire. Based on the prepared materials, the Ararat regional prosecutor's office has already instructed the Investigative Committee's Masis division to initiate a criminal case under the characteristics of Article 149.2, part 2 and Article 154.4 of the RA Criminal Code, and to clarify all circumstances of the incident during the preliminary investigation,” he wrote.
