Was One of the Buses from Artsakh Involved in an Accident on the Way to Kocharian's Rally? Auroranews Reports Details
Civic.am reports, referencing sources from Sisian, that since this morning, people are being brought from Artsakh by buses to attend Robert Kocharian's rally. One of those buses has been involved in an accident, resulting in five individuals being hospitalized. The vehicle transporting people from Artsakh was involved in a traffic accident near the village of Sarnakunk in the community of Gorayk on the M2 highway.
The Sisian Medical Center confirmed in response to our inquiry that those involved in the accident are from Artsakh. “The ambulance was called from the Sarnakunk-Angeghakot road. They are from Artsakh, four of whom are women and children, and are in moderate condition; the driver's situation is critical, and he is undergoing surgery,” they reported from the hospital.
Auroranews contacted the press department of the police, where it was stated that the vehicle involved in the accident was not a bus, but a personal vehicle. The Nissan X-Trail belonged to a citizen of Artsakh, and reportedly, it had his family and one woman inside. The driver lost control while traversing the 192 kilometers of the Yerevan-Meghri route, veered off the road, and overturned into a gorge.
