Car Caught Fire in Yerevan; Driver Sustains Minor Burns

A car fire occurred on Alikhanian Street in Yerevan involving an Opel Vectra. The information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

The crisis management center received the alert yesterday at 10:53 PM. Two firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene.

Firefighters managed to isolate the fire by 11:06 PM and extinguished it by 11:08 PM.

The trunk and part of the interior of the vehicle (driver: V. P., born in 1986) were burned. The driver was hospitalized at the National Burn Center, and after receiving the necessary medical treatment, was discharged.
