Streets in Yerevan to Be Renamed: City Council to Make Decision

The Yerevan City Council will hold a session on June 22, during which it will make a decision regarding the renaming of several streets in Yerevan.

In particular, a decision will be made to rename the street in the Shengavit administrative district, Shahamiryan Street, after the Honored Worker of the Economy of the Republic of Armenia and philanthropist Hrant Vardanian, to "Hrant Vardanian Street." Additionally, Shahamiryan Street will be renamed to honor the father and son duo of Shahamir and Hakob Shahamiryan.
