Brawl Occurred in Yerevan: One Injured
Investigations are underway at the investigative department of the Yerevan Police's Mashtots division regarding an incident that took place on June 16 in the Davitashen administrative district.
On that day, around 10:00 AM, the police received a call from the Armenia Medical Center reporting that a citizen had come in for medical assistance diagnosed with a "skull fracture." A police operational group from the Mashtots division, led by an investigator from the investigative department, was dispatched to the hospital.
Police determined that the injured citizen was 44-year-old Vahagn N. from the Davitashen administrative district. It was revealed that on the same day, around 09:45, Vahagn N. had argued with three employees of the Yerevan Municipality at the intersection of 3rd and 9th streets in the Davitashen neighborhood. According to Vahagn N.'s statement, they had assaulted him with a metal rod as well as with their hands and feet.
As a result of operational measures taken by the criminal investigation units of the Mashtots division and the Davitashen division, it was discovered that the individuals involved in the altercation were Yerevan residents 42-year-old Felix G., 30-year-old Edgar M., and 23-year-old Arnak P. Vahagn N. identified these individuals as those who had assaulted him.
According to sources, Felix G. works as a control cartographer at the Yerevan Municipality's Stray Animal Neutralization Center, Edgar M. serves as a driver and animal catcher in the same center, and Arnak P. is also an animal catcher at the center.
By the investigator's decision, a forensic examination has been appointed.
