Another Gold Medalist at the European Championships

The European Youth Wrestling Championships continue in the Bulgarian town of Samokov. Free-style wrestler Aren Israelian (71 kg) won a gold medal by defeating his Russian opponent with a score of 12:1 in the final. This information was reported by the Armenian Wrestling Federation.

Hayk Gasparyan (45 kg) clinched a silver medal, while Tigran Buniatyan (51 kg) secured a bronze medal.

It is worth noting that Andranik Avetisyan, competing in the 55 kg weight category, also emerged as a champion at the European Championships.

Thus, the Armenian youth team in free-style wrestling placed 2nd in the team rankings, finishing behind only Russia, a dominant power in the sport.
