Russian Peacekeepers Undertake Restoration Works to Ensure Water Supply for Taghavard and Karmir Shuka
Personnel from the Russian peacekeeping contingent are actively engaged in ensuring the safety of restoration works aimed at the reconstruction of infrastructure in settlements near the line of contact between the parties in Artsakh, as reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In the Martuni region, Russian peacekeepers are carrying out restoration works to facilitate the construction of a main water pipeline that will provide water to two settlements. Immediately at the work site, sappers conducted inspections of the surrounding area before allowing engineering equipment to operate.
After replacing 20 kilometers of pipeline, over 2,500 residents of the villages of Taghavard and Karmir Shuka in Artsakh will have access to drinking water.
