Putin and Biden's Narrow Format Talks Conclude in Geneva

The narrow format talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden have concluded in Geneva, as reported by RIA Novosti referencing the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov. In addition to the presidents, the heads of the foreign affairs departments of the two countries, Sergey Lavrov and Anthony Blinken, were also present.

The first part of the summit lasted nearly two hours. Following a break, the parties moved on to discussions in an expanded format. Overall, the negotiations lasted five hours.

A joint press conference is expected to take place.
