NATO Reconnaissance Plane Monitored Russian President Vladimir Putin's Aircraft Heading to Geneva
NATO's RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft tracked two flights of Russian President Vladimir Putin's aircraft heading to Geneva.
Reports indicate that the British Royal Air Force aircraft was spotted near the presidential Il-96M-VPU as it was flying over the waters of the Black Sea. After that, the Rivet Joint changed course and proceeded towards the Greek island of Crete, where the Hania airbase is located, while Putin's planes continued their flight through Romanian airspace.
