Preparations are underway in Shushi for the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports an Azerbaijani media outlet.

It was previously reported that the Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan, Jahit Bagci, had visited Shushi. He announced on Twitter that the purpose of his visit was to get acquainted with the preparatory work for Erdogan’s upcoming visit to the 'Cultural Capital of Azerbaijan.'

As mentioned earlier, Erdogan is scheduled to visit Azerbaijan on June 15, with his visit to Shushi planned for the following day.
