Citizen Spits on Pashinyan's Photo, Leading to Assault by Prominent My Step MP

On the evening of June 12, another incident involving parliament members of the My Step faction took place in Yerevan. According to eyewitness accounts provided to Yerevan.Today, MPs Sisak Gabrielyan and Hrachya Hakobyan, who is the brother-in-law of the Prime Minister, approached a citizen in a yard located in the South-Western B2 neighborhood of Malatia-Sebastia, attempting to explain why they should vote for the Civil Contract party.

The man recognized them, took the pamphlet, spat on the Prime Minister's photo, and, cursing, threw the pamphlet back at the MPs. A confrontation ensued, and the lawmakers left the yard but returned some time later, this time accompanied by another MP from their faction, Hayk Sargsyan, known as 'the bottle collector'.

An eyewitness reported that Hayk Sargsyan assaulted the middle-aged man. Yerevan.Today has not yet been able to contact the citizen, but plans to speak with him soon regarding the details of the incident and will present a publication based on that conversation.

Our calls to Sisak Gabrielyan, who was distributing Pashinyan's pamphlets, went unanswered. Auroranews attempted to reach out to the MPs for confirmation but has not yet succeeded.
