“They blame everyone for corrupt schemes, but have no evidence or court ruling,” Vahe Hakobyan

For three years there has been lies, fakes, and slander; this is written on their business card. They have adopted a slogan that there is a future and talk about the past, specifically our past, not theirs. This was stated by Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the ‘Armenia’ alliance and former governor of Syunik, during a meeting with voters.

“Now I want to talk about their present. They accuse everyone of corrupt schemes, but in three years they have not provided any evidence or court ruling. If there was corruption, why is no one convicted? This means two things: firstly, that they couldn’t, are incapable, and secondly, that they are in collusion,” he said.

Vahe Hakobyan pointed out one fact about the government's corrupt potential and schemes. Specifically, he mentioned road construction, noting that they come from the Lori region where the last segment of more than 15 kilometers is in ruins. “There is a government decision under which the entire control of road construction has been granted to a company known as Koks Consult on a one-source principle, and the percentage has significantly increased, placing the burden on the budget. 15 million dollars have passed to this company, which carries out the supervision. Let’s put that aside, this Koks Consult company has been in close cooperation for many years with a certain LLC called Road Project, whose director is Bagrat Badalyan, a former deputy minister of territorial administration and currently the head of the office of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan,” he said, adding that this is a potential corrupt scheme.
