Arshakyan and 3 RPA Members Involved in Brawl for Insulting an Elderly Man

During the election campaign yesterday, members of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) distributed campaign brochures in the area of the "Kanaker HPP" when an elderly man approached them and requested that they stop distributing brochures in that area, stating that there were no voters present and to collect the brochures and leave, reports "Hraparak."

The publication added that in response, the RPA members, led by former Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan, insulted the elderly man.

Several young residents of the area intervened to defend their elderly neighbor's honor and attacked the RPA members. The media reported that Hakob Arshakyan sustained minor injuries, while the other RPA members were taken to the "Izmirlian" medical center, with one of them having fractures.
