Accident on the Hovdavan Road Involving Mercedes GL and Mercedes C, the Latter Overturned in the Ravine with Injuries Reported

Today, June 11, a serious car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 15:00, a collision took place between Mercedes GL and Mercedes C Class vehicles on the 1st km section of the Hrazdan-Hovdavan highway. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Mercedes C veered off the traffic lane and ended up overturned in a ravine.

Emergency services from the 44th Fire and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene with one firefighting unit. Witnesses at the scene reported that two of the injured were first assisted by bystanders.

The doctors from the Hrazdan Medical Center acted quickly, providing first aid at the scene, after which one of the injured was transported to the Hrazdan Medical Center.

Also arriving promptly were the officers of the 2nd Police Battalion’s 3rd Company led by the company commander Artur Petrosyan and the platoon commander Sargis Bagratyan. Senior investigators from the same company, Mayis Badoyan and Artur Minasyan, also reached the site.
