VIDEO: Residential Building Collapses in India, Casualties Reported

At least 11 people have died, including 8 children, following the collapse of a residential building in Mumbai, India. Individuals were literally trapped under the debris. According to NDTV, the tragedy occurred late Wednesday evening. It is reported that at least 18 more people may still be trapped under the rubble. Rescue teams are currently working to dismantle the debris and free those trapped.

A local party member, Ram Kadam, has labeled the tragedy as a result of negligence. Preliminary reports suggest that heavy rainfall, which has already begun along India's west coast, may have triggered the collapse.
