Documents on the Health Condition of Six Armenian Soldiers Captured by Azerbaijan on May 27 Provided

On June 8, in response to the Armenian government's request regarding the protection of the fundamental rights of six Armenian soldiers captured by Azerbaijan on May 27, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) recorded that the interim measures applied on November 3, 2020, remain in effect for the mentioned soldiers, just as for other captured and detained civilians. Meanwhile, based on the decision of the European Court, Azerbaijan has provided documents concerning the health condition of these soldiers, as well as the charges brought against them. This information was reported by Armenia's representative at the ECHR.

On the same day, the European Court also rejected Azerbaijan's request to lift the interim measures applied to individuals whose capture has not been confirmed. Those measures continue to remain in effect.
