CEC Rejects: Tigran Arzakanzyan Cannot Be a Candidate for Parliament

The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia discussed the registration of Tigran Arzakanzyan, a candidate from the electoral list of the Democratic Party of Armenia, during its regular session on June 10. The commission decided to reject the registration due to discrepancies found in the documents.

Arzakanzyan's representative was unable to prove that he has been a permanent resident of Armenia for the past four years. Arzakanzyan has the right to appeal the decision in court.
