Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Attempt Engineering Works in Gegharkunik Border Area

On June 10, the armed forces of Azerbaijan attempted to carry out engineering works in the border area of Gegharkunik region of Armenia. Armenian military units responded with countermeasures, forcing the Azerbaijani side to cease their operations. In response, the Azerbaijani forces opened fire towards the Armenian positions. Armenian border guards carried out retaliatory actions. There were no casualties reported from the Armenian side as a result of the exchange of fire.
