VIDEO: Why is there constant talk about handing over Meghri and why are their claims unconvincing? A journalist's question to Kocharyan
During this time, we have had discussions with our hero generals about what steps we should take and what our priorities are. This was stated by the second President of Armenia and the Prime Minister candidate of the 'Armenia' coalition, Robert Kocharyan, during a conversation with journalists.
Kocharyan did not answer the question of why there is constant talk about handing over Meghri and why their claims are unconvincing. The reporter insisted on the question a second time, to which Robert Kocharyan responded, 'Have you not heard about ethics?'
When asked how he evaluates Nikol Pashinyan’s statements that soldiers in the army were chasing after candies, Robert Kocharyan said, 'I would suggest recalling his statement in the summer about what kind of army we have, the most combat-ready, and so on. It just needs to be reminded. Overall, the style adopted by the government is incomprehensible to me. The choice is the government's accountability to the people regarding what has been done during this period. I didn't hear any report during any meetings, but the essence of the elections is in that. I assumed that they should have first apologized to the people for failing to achieve something. They didn’t even say that. They have adopted a style of discrediting everyone. If you are in the dirt, you try to drag others into that dirt so that you don’t look better and cleaner than them,' noted Robert Kocharyan.
