Second Round Means Another 28 Days of Keeping the Country in Turmoil: Marukyan
Second round means another 28 days of keeping the country in turmoil. This was stated today, June 8, by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the „Enlightened Armenia“ party, during a conversation with journalists before the start of the campaign in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative community, responding to a question about the feasibility of holding a second round of elections.
“A second round means giving the enemy the opportunity to move forward with our borders. I cannot imagine a second round; if it happens, it’s a calamity as well. When there are 45% undecided voters, these voters can create a storm on election day. If that happens, there won't be any question of a second round,” he said.
Edmon Marukyan mentioned that today a group from the party will conduct a campaign from Sisian to Vayots Dzor, and then to Ararat province, while he himself will head to Kotayk province tomorrow and will have meetings in Vanadzor.
