According to a source from armeniasputnik.am in Moscow, just a few days ago in May, when Robert Kocharyan was on a working visit to the Russian capital, another phone conversation took place between him and President Putin. The news outlet attempted to confirm this information with the office of the second president.

Viktor Soghomonyan confirmed: indeed, Putin and Kocharyan had a phone conversation in May, during which they discussed the situation in the region, Armenian-Russian relations, and touched upon several other issues.

This year marks the third phone conversation between Robert Kocharyan and the President of Russia.
